William Murphy, DVM
Dr. William Murphy is a general practitioner and the hospital director of Veterinary Housecall Service of Rochester. He has cared for pets here for three years. Previously, Dr. Murphy established and directed Bayview Veterinary Hospital for six years; he also served as hospital director at Palmyra Animal Hospital for a short time.
Dr. Murphy grew up in Webster and currently resides in Penfield. As an undergraduate, he attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science in 1979. He continued his veterinary education at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine and was awarded his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1986.
A member of the New York State Veterinary Medical Association and the Genesee Valley Veterinary Medical Association, Dr. Murphy's professional interests include general medicine and surgical care. At home, he enjoys the companionship of two dogs, Chloe and Barkley (both Cavalier King Charles Spaniels) and a cat named Amigo.
Amie Craft
Amie Craft is the lead client service representative at the Veterinary Housecall Service of Rochester. A member of the Housecalls staff since 2004, Amie has been a part of the Monroe Veterinary Associates team since 1995. She loves animals and enjoys working closely with clients and their pets.
Amie's own animal companions include Lexi, a cat, and Tinderbox, a dog. She enjoys bird watching whenever she has free time.
Chelsea Thompson
Client service representative Chelsea Thompson joined the Housecalls team in 2005. She loves working with the friendly staff and enjoys helping clients and their pets each day.
Chelsea also works outside the hospital as a sign language interpreter. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, working on her house and spending time with her family and friends. Her family includes five dogs. Her three Shih-Tzus, Oliver, Tucker, and Venice, a French Bulldog named Paris, and a German Shepherd named Jenna provide her with lots of love and companionship.
